Background & Introduction

I am Harichandra Singh, a passionate agricultural professional from Bajhang, Nepal, dedicated to promoting sustainable farming practices, education, and farmer empowerment. Growing up in a rural farming community, I witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by farmers, which inspired my academic journey and career in agriculture.

I believe in the power of knowledge-sharing, and I actively work to bridge the gap between science and the soil. Through teaching and content creation, I aim to empower both aspiring agri-professionals and grassroots farmers.

🎓 Education

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (B.Sc. Ag. Hons.), with a strong foundation in crop science, extension education, and agribusiness. My education was enriched with fieldwork, research, and technical training in various areas of agriculture.

👨‍🏫 Current Profession

I currently serve as an Agriculture Instructor at Shree Veer Balabhadra Model Secondary School, Thabang, Rolpa, Nepal (since 2024). In this role, I am responsible for:

Delivering practical and theoretical agricultural education.
Guiding students in sustainable and smart farming methods.
Implementing model agricultural projects in the school.
Inspiring youth to pursue careers in agriculture and agribusiness.

💼 Internships & Field Experience

I have gained diverse hands-on experience through internships and field engagements:

Grain Legumes Research Program (3 months) – Participated in varietal trials, data collection, and crop management.
PMAMP, PIU Bajhang (1 month) – Supported government-led agricultural modernization efforts through field demonstrations and farmer interactions.
Center for Agriculture and Farmers Development (2 months) – Worked on farmer training, surveys, data analysis, and extension activities.

रुटस्टक र सायनमा के फरक छ ?
